Nicole Dunn was inspired to create Empower Aged Care Consulting after caring for her Nanna who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2015, after experiencing first-hand how difficult the aged care system can be.

During her time caring for her Nanna, Nicole often found herself thinking how she wished there was someone to ease the burden of doing all the advocacy and research into home care.
The endless calls and referrals to arrange home based aged care services was tiring and stressful but more importantly it took time away from being with a loved one. Nicole thought there had to be a better way.

Nicole provides a service that supports older people and their carers to make informed decisions and guides them to plan and implement a course of action. As a carer Nicole can truly understand what families are going through and can offer the right support at the right time.
